Located at 1755 Herndon Ave in Clovis, Ramen Hayashi Clovis has quickly become a go-to spot for locals craving a satisfying bowl of ramen in a relaxed, casual setting. The ordering process is simple and efficient—guests place and pay for their orders up front before finding a seat, which keeps things moving even during busier hours. While it can get a bit crowded at peak times, the steady flow speaks to its growing popularity, and many find the short wait well worth it once the food arrives.
The menu centers around hearty ramen bowls that deliver both comfort and generous portions. The spicy ramen stands out as a favorite for those who enjoy a bold kick, while the Tonkatsu ramen offers a more classic option with rich toppings and plenty of noodles to go around. Beyond ramen, dishes like chicken yaki noodles provide a flavorful alternative, appealing to diners looking for something slightly different while still staying within the Japanese comfort food theme. Appetizers also shine here, especially the takoyaki, which comes out crispy on the outside and hot and soft on the inside, making it a popular choice to start the meal. Gyoza is another solid addition, rounding out the experience with familiar, satisfying bites.
The atmosphere adds a unique touch to the dining experience, with creative decor such as ramen bowl-inspired light fixtures that give the space a fun, themed identity. There’s also outdoor seating available, offering a nice option for those who prefer a more open-air setting. Combined with reasonable prices, filling portions, and a menu that caters to both traditional and slightly adventurous tastes, Ramen Hayashi Clovis creates a welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back for more.

Have been here twice now and all I can say is that this place is amazing! You will definitely find something that you like for sure. I love spam fried rice and this is one of the rare spots that actually has it! The ratio of rice to spam in the musubi is spot on. Service has been great. Delicious that Thea or passion fruit lemonade! The ramen is perfection. Portion sizes are generous. Enough space for a party of two or larger groups.
I love coming here. Service is always good, Favorite ramen spot in Fresno, interior is nice and outside setting is cool. Good never disappoints
This is a casual, self-seating ramen spot. You order first then find a seat. Server will bring food to you. We went on a Saturday afternoon right before the lunch rush. Our order came out pretty fast. Ordered the shoyu ramen and tonkatsu ramen with chicken karage. The shoyu broth was delicious! A little on the salty side but it made the noodles flavorful. There was also tender slices of beef in there which I was impressed by. Even though the meat was well done, it melted in my mouth. Definitely quality beef used there. The Tonkatsu broth was alright. I think I'm just not a fan of tonkatsu broth in general but my husband really liked it. The star of the show in my opinion was the chicken karage. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The chili powder served along side it was delicious and addicting and not too hot. I would come back for the karage alone. One of the better ramen shops in the Fresno/Clovis area. Would recommend this place! And will be returning!
Hubs and I had dinner here last Sunday night after a long day of hiking in Sequoia. This hit the spot! Hubs built his own ramen bowl; I had the rice bowl w/ chicken teriyaki. Both were excellent! Had a veggie spring roll appetizer which was great too - just came after our meals. Nice outdoor seating options, friendly service. Highly recommend!
Excellent service always great food. My go-to order is fried rice with pork cha su, side of mayo and spam musubi-- and it always turns out delicious! At times there's a line, it's definitely worth the wait, if you are taking the food to go I'd suggest ordering on their website, so you don't have to wait. All in all, my go to spot.
